Art Deco 800 Silver Abalone Cameo Bracelet | 1920's Silver and Marcasite 7 Days of the Week

This wonderful vintage 800 silver carved abalone cameo "7 Days of the Week" bracelet is accented with marcasites on a patterned border frame. There are seven links, each with a different hand carved mythological chariot scene in Abalone Shell. Each carved scene represents a specific day of the week: Monday - Diana Goddess of Hunting and Chastity. Tuesday - Mars God of War. Wednesday - Mercury God of Trade and Protector of Thieves. Thursday - Jupiter Gods Father. Friday - Venus Goddess of Love and Beauty. Saturday - Saturnus God of Agriculture. Sunday - Apollo God of the Sun, Art and Medicine Each link measures 22mm long x 17mm wide (average). On the back of the bracelet at one end, the bracelet is made in Italy and marked 800 for the silver content.

Measurements: Measures 7 1/2" in length by 3/4" at the widest.<br></p><p>Condition: Excellent with silver showing patina consistent for its age.
