Description
A vintage sterling silver souvenir ice axe brooch from the alpine tourist areas of Swiss Alps or Austria. The original regional plaque was either removed intentionally or it became detached and another tourist souvenir item was attached. The that is suspended from the axe is from Bastogne Belgium a WWII Battle location as well as the location of the Bastogne War Museum. Both pieces are unmarked. The brooch appears older and is sterling silver. The charm is vintage and assumed to be silver plated.
Measurements: Measures 1 7/8" in length by 1" at the widest point in width.
Condition: Very good condition with just surface oxidation.
