Description
Description: An antique inspired 5.5mm band with a continuous embossed flower pattern in sterling silver. The pattern is of blooming dogwood. Extremely popular in the 19th century, when Queen Victoria of England developed an interest in it, dogwood blossoms signified durability. This may have originated from the durable quality of the dogwood tree's wood.
Designed to be low in profile, flat on the top and inner surface with no dome. It is perfect to wear as a stacking band, an every day ring or worn as a wedding band. They are not mass produced but are manufactured to order and milled from patterned roller wheel dies. The bands are made to appear just like their authentic counterparts did a century ago. Featuring a repeating floral pattern which is intricate with clearly defined embossed details.
A choice of 4 finishes are available: polished or antiqued (oxidized) finish.
- Polished, has shiny reflective surface.
- Antiqued, oxidized and tarnished in the recessed areas. High polish on the raised surfaces, has a darker overall finish.
- Satin, a lightly brushed matte finish.
- Antiqued satin, oxidized in the recessed areas. Brushed matte finish on the raised surfaces.
This band is manufactured to size and will have a continuous pattern in all sizes. However, you may be able to notice a "seam" where the two ends of the ring come together during manufacturing. If your ring size is not listed just request it.
