Description: 10k yellow gold Victorian Etruscan Revival brooch . The workmanship is very fine on this particular pin with hand hammered details and delicate Etruscan wire twist decoration. The blend of two late Victorian techniques, the wire twist and hand the hand hammered finish, is bridging Etruscan Revival and Arts & Crafts era. Having a fancy c-clasp closure and tube hinge. In excellent condition with only minor surface scratches consistent with age but can be polished out if desired. Circa 1880's - 1890's.
