Description
Description: A gents 14k rose gold Victorian Intertwined snake ring with gemstone eyes. The snake ring is a copy of my great grandfather's ring and has been in my family since the 1800's. It is set with a 3.5mm pyrope garnet & a Ceylon sapphire which is the same stone color combination of the original.
In Victorian times, the snake symbolized eternity, vitality and life. Snake and serpent jewelry entered a new height in popularity after Queen Victoria choose a snake ring for her engagement with Prince Albert. Wrapped around and tail tucked under his head was a symbol of eternal love. Two snake heads intertwined were partners forever, what a wonderful gift to give to your beloved!
