Description
New, old stock of vintage light blue sunray glass tablet. These Art Deco style sunray also known as sunburst crystals have an opaque turquoise blue color glass base. Each tablet is hand pressed with an engraved top with a hole in the center for a stone accented trim plate. There will be a slight variation in color, size and shape due to edges being ground by hand. Made in Germany and were first made to imitate the look of the Art Deco etched glass jewelry of the 1920's.
These stones work best in settings made for low profile, flat backed stones and cabochons. Used to repair and replace lost or damaged vintage crystals or to use in your own Art Deco reproduction jewelry. Sold individually.
This 25x18mm emerald shaped tablet has a height of 3.6mm with a 1.9mm sized hole in the center.
