Description
A fabulous pair of antique circa 1880's 14k rose gold Victorian era etched taille d'epargne enamel earrings. Having a 21x15.5mm oval shaped disk shape with applied ornamentation. The earrings have a textured or stippled surface with an antiqued (oxidized) outer edging and a rose gold center section that is separated by an oval ring of black enamel tracery, also known as taille d'epargne. On each earring is a bar shaped ornament. The French ear wires have a safety hook at the bottom. Unmarked but electronically tested 14k. Circa. 1870's.
Weight: Weighs 12.9 grams.
Measurements: Measures 1" in length including ear wires by 5/8" wide.
Condition: Excellent with the exception of some very minor enamel loss at the bottom of one earring.
